FL7 Series
Developed by SEEKINGLED specifically for demanding hazardous area applications, the FL7 Series provides a robust and high-performance explosion proof lights solution built to meet rigorous international safety standards.
Incorporating flame proof lights technology (Ex d flameproof enclosure), the luminaire fully complies with IEC/EN 60079-0 and 60079-1 standards. This ensures safe and reliable operation in Zone 1 and Zone 21 (gas and dust), as well as Zone 2 and Zone 22 hazardous locations — offering greater protection versatility than Zone 2-only products.
The FL7 Series is particularly well-suited for critical sectors such as petroleum, natural gas, chemical, military, marine lighting, airport lighting, and other hazardous area lighting requirements where uncompromising safety and durability are essential.
Power Range and Performance
Power options are available in 100W, 200W, 300W, and 400W, with the high-power configuration making it especially effective for high mounting heights and wide-area illumination in large industrial spaces.
The luminaire achieves luminous efficacy up to 150LM/W with excellent colour rendering, delivering accurate and natural colour reproduction. Compared to traditional halogen sources, it provides:

The FL7 Series LED Explosion Proof Flood Lights are designed for higher-risk hazardous areas, covering Zone 1 and Zone 2 for gas, and Zone 21 and Zone 22 for dust. This makes them suitable where explosive atmospheres may occur during normal operation.
This explosion proof LED flood light uses a flameproof enclosure (Ex d). The housing is built to contain an internal explosion and prevent flame propagation to the surrounding atmosphere.
For Zone 1 locations, nR protection is not sufficient. Explosion proof LED flood lights with Ex d construction provide a higher safety margin and are required in many oil & gas and petrochemical projects.
In practice, this led explosion proof flood light is used in refineries, offshore platforms, chemical plants, LNG terminals, military bases, ports, and airport apron areas with hazardous classifications.
The FL7 Series covers 100W, 200W, 300W, and 400W. The higher wattages are typically selected for high mounting heights or wide-area coverage.
A built-in DIP switch allows output selection at 100%, 75%, or 50%. This means one led flood light explosion proof unit can be configured on site to suit different illumination requirements.
Many projects require a certified junction box installed separately. With this explosion proof LED flood light, the junction box is integrated, reducing wiring work and installation time.
Compared to halogen units, LED Explosion Proof Flood Lights generate less heat, start instantly, and operate far longer. This directly reduces lamp replacement frequency and maintenance exposure in hazardous areas.
The FL7 Series is certified to both ATEX and IECEx standards, issued by CSA. This allows the same explosion proof LED flood lights to be used across Europe and IECEx-recognised regions worldwide.
