UFO LED High Bay light

The HBD Series LED High Bay Lighting from SEEKING was created for places where lights are expected to work every single day without much attention—busy production floors, tall warehouse aisles, logistics hubs and even large indoor public spaces like airport halls or mall atriums. Instead of trying to make the thinnest or most decorative housing, SEEKING focused on something more important: a high bay that keeps running steadily, gives strong illumination, and doesn’t need frequent replacement.

At the core of the HBD design is its 160 lm/W ±5% optical performance, driven by efficient 2835 LEDs. Whether you choose 100W, 150W, 200W or 240W, the lumen output covers a broad range of industrial applications—from mid-height assembly lines to tall storage racking where strong penetration is needed. Many older metal-halide or sodium fixtures can be replaced one-to-one while cutting energy use dramatically.

The series offers 60°, 90° and 120° beam angles, giving lighting designers some flexibility based on spacing and mounting height. Narrow beams work well for high shelves or tall hangars, while the wider 120° beam spreads light more evenly in open production zones.

A strong highlight of the HBD Series is the IP66 & IK08 protection level. Dust, airborne particles, humidity and the occasional bumps from forklifts or tools are all common in industrial settings. The aluminum alloy housing handles these conditions without degrading quickly. Inside, a SOSEN constant-current driver keeps the fixture stable even under long operating hours, with a high PF and low THD that help avoid electrical issues in older buildings.

With colour temperatures available in 4000K neutral white and 5700K cool white, project owners can match lighting to task requirements—4000K for more comfortable work areas, and 5700K for high-clarity inspection or logistics zones.

Rated at L80B20 > 100,000 hours, the HBD Series is built for long-term service with minimal intervention. For facilities that run lights 10–20 hours a day, this reliability becomes a major cost advantage over time. And with certifications such as TUV, CE and CB, the fixture meets the expectations needed for international procurement and engineering projects.

In short, the SEEKING HBD Series offers a dependable form of led high bay lighting—the kind you can install once and expect to run smoothly for years.

What is the SEEKING HBD Series LED high bay lighting mainly used for?

The HBD Series is built for production workshops, warehouse aisles, manufacturing plants, distribution centers, construction sites, airport waiting halls and commercial facilities with high ceilings.

How bright is each wattage option?

Using 160 lm/W efficiency, the output ranges from 16,000 lm (100W) up to 38,400 lm (240W). This covers both medium-height spaces and very tall industrial ceilings.

How do I choose between 60°, 90° and 120° beam angles?
  • 60°: best for tall shelving, narrow aisles or high installation points
  • 90°: general warehouse or factory layout
  • 120°: open production floors or areas needing wide coverage
Is the HBD Series suitable for harsh industrial environments?

Yes. The IP66 rating keeps out dust and strong moisture, and IK08 impact resistance protects the fixture from accidental knocks—common in logistics settings and workshops.

What driver does this LED high bay use?

All models use SOSEN drivers, known for stable long-term operation, consistent current output, and low electrical noise.

Can these lights replace old HID or metal-halide fixtures?

Absolutely. The lumen output of the HBD Series is strong enough to replace 250W–600W HID fixtures while using a fraction of the energy, reducing heat and maintenance.

What colour temperatures are available?

The HBD Series is offered in 4000K for neutral workplaces and 5700K for bright, high-clarity industrial areas.

How long will the LED high bay lights last?

With L80B20 > 100,000 hours, the fixture is suitable for long-hours industrial use. Many users operate them for years without noticeable lumen loss.

Can the HBD Series work with sensors or smart control systems?

Yes. While sensors are not built-in, the lights can be connected to external motion sensors, timers, photocells or centralized control panels depending on project needs.

Is the HBD Series suitable for retrofits as well as new installations?

Yes. Its UFO structure and AC100–277V range fit most existing wiring systems, so many HID fixtures can be swapped out without major rewiring or structural changes.
