Project Location: Vietnam
Application: Manufacturing Factory
Product Model: XJ-GSL100W
Brand: SEEKINGLED
This project took place in a factory in Vietnam that was preparing to upgrade its existing lighting system. The customer did not approach the project with a fixed product in mind. Instead, they were interested in evaluating something new, provided it could work within their production environment and existing structure.
At that time, the XJ-GSL Square High Bay was a newly developed product. From our side, the goal was not to push it as a concept, but to see how it behaved in a real factory setting.
Before any large commitment, the customer requested samples. These were installed in a working area of the factory, not a test room. That mattered. Machines were running, people were moving, and the lights were on for long hours each day.
The square form factor stood out visually, but the discussion stayed focused on practical points: coverage, brightness at the working plane, and how the fixtures fit with the ceiling layout. The customer also reviewed the different installation options, since flexibility was important for future adjustments.
During the trial period, no changes were made to the mounting height. The fixtures were installed using standard methods to keep the test realistic. Light levels were checked informally by the site team during normal shifts rather than through staged measurements.
One point that came up was output. The XJ-GSL100W provided more light than the customer expected at that wattage, which allowed them to consider wider spacing without reducing visibility. That influenced the final quantity decision later.
After the testing phase, the customer confirmed the order for 150 units of XJ-GSL100W LED High Bay Light. The decision was based on what they observed on site rather than on specifications alone. The appearance of the square housing was acceptable to them, but it was not the only factor.
The availability of multiple installation methods also played a role, as it gave the factory more options for future layout changes.
The full installation followed the same approach as the sample setup. No additional accessories were added. The fixtures were treated as functional equipment, not design elements.
From an engineering perspective, this Square High Bay Lighting for Factory Use project was valuable because it tested a new product in a real production environment early on. The feedback came from daily use, not from presentation slides.
