On 22 November 2025, SEEKINGLED’s HLD Series Linear LED High Bay lights was successfully implemented in the first Walmart-branded store in Johannesburg, South Africa (Roodepoort). Shortly afterwards, the second store in Fourways was also fully equipped with our lighting solution.
Key highlights of the project:
150W HLD Series linear high bay
Dual asymmetric 25° beam angle
Spacing of 4 m, mounting height of 5 m
Average ground illuminance: 300 lux
Vertical shelf illuminance: 500 lux
UGR <19 (excellent visual comfort)
Power density: only 4.12 W/m² (equivalent to 0.70 W/m²/100 lx)
65% energy savings compared to traditional fluorescent fixtures
