SEEKINGLED GSL Series Project
In March 2024, SEEKINGLED completed a LED high bay light application project for a kindergarten in Europe. Unlike warehouses or factories, this project had a very different priority: children’s visual comfort and safety.
The kindergarten required lighting that was bright enough for daily activities, but without harsh glare, flicker, or excessive blue light. Traditional industrial lighting was clearly not suitable for this type of environment.
After evaluation and lighting simulation, the SEEKING GSL LED High Bay Light Series was selected for the project.
At first glance, “high bay light” and “kindergarten” may not seem like a natural match. However, many modern kindergarten buildings in Europe use high ceilings and open indoor spaces for sports, play, and group activities.

For this project, the goal was not maximum brightness, but stable, soft illumination that supports long indoor stays without causing eye fatigue.
The GSL Series LED high bay lights were designed with low blue light hazard and flicker-free drivers, which plays an important role in environments used by children.

Teachers reported that the space felt more relaxed after installation, especially during long indoor sessions on cloudy days.
Since installation, the lights have been operating consistently with no visible flicker or noise. The kindergarten staff noted that the lighting feels “natural” and does not create sharp shadows on floors or walls.
From a maintenance point of view, the LED high bay lights also reduce the need for frequent lamp replacement, which is important for public buildings where safety and downtime matter.
This project shows that LED high bay lighting is not limited to industrial use. With the right optical and electrical design, it can also be applied in sensitive environments such as schools and kindergartens.
