Project Location: Australia
Application: Outdoor Parking Lot
Product Model: XJ-FL100W
Brand: SEEKINGLED
This project involved an outdoor parking lot in Australia that had been using metal halide lamps for years. The lights were still functioning, but visibility at night was uneven. Some areas were clearly darker than others, especially between parking rows and near turning zones.
Before making any large changes, the customer requested a sample test.

We installed XJ-FL100W flood lights in selected positions and left the rest of the parking lot unchanged. This allowed a direct comparison between the new LED fixtures and the existing MH lamps.
The difference was easy to see. Light output was more consistent, and the color was clearer. Drivers approaching the test area slowed less and positioned their vehicles more confidently. That feedback came from observation rather than formal reporting.
Based on this trial, the customer agreed to move forward with a full replacement.
The project focused on replacing existing MH lamps rather than redesigning the entire lighting layout. Mounting positions were reused. That limited the scope but kept installation straightforward.
Beam angles were adjusted on site. In a parking lot, small aiming changes affect shadows around cars and lane markings. We spent time adjusting rather than locking everything into place immediately.
Once all XJ-FL100W led flood lights were installed, the site was reviewed again at night. The overall brightness was higher than before, but more importantly, it was more even. Dark gaps between vehicles were reduced.
No additional control systems were added. The lighting operates on a fixed schedule, consistent with the original system.
The customer’s feedback focused on safety. Drivers could see pedestrians and lane edges more clearly. There were fewer complaints about dark corners.
From an engineering standpoint, this LED Flood Lighting for Parking Lot Safety project was defined by the sample test. It reduced uncertainty and kept expectations realistic. The final result followed naturally from that first step.
