Product NO: XJ-HBS150W-2
Brand: SEEKINGLED
Project Location: Spain
Application: Industrial / warehouse lighting retrofit
This project was completed together with our local partner in Spain, focusing on upgrading an existing lighting system that used 354W lamps. The original fixtures had been in operation for a long time. While they were still functional, light levels were uneven, and energy consumption had become a concern for the site owner.
From the beginning, the request was clear: reduce power usage without compromising visibility on the working floor. There was no intention to redesign the building structure or change mounting heights. For this reason, the replacement solution needed to fit the existing layout and be easy to implement on site.
After reviewing the conditions and the original lamp layout, we selected the XJ-HBS150W led high bay ligh (Product NO: XJ-HBS150W-2). The choice was based on practical considerations rather than specifications on paper. The power level allowed a direct replacement approach, and the fixture design was familiar to the installation team, which reduced on-site risks.
Installation was carried out in stages to avoid interrupting daily operations. The existing 354W lamps were removed, and the XJ-HBS150W units were installed using the same mounting positions. No additional structural work was required. Once the lights were powered on, the difference was immediately noticeable on the floor.
Measured results showed energy savings of up to 60% compared with the previous system. At the same time, lux levels increased significantly, reaching roughly double the brightness in key working areas. This was particularly important in zones where accurate visual work is required, as shadows and dark spots were reduced.
From an engineering perspective, the most valuable feedback came from the site after a period of operation. The lighting remained stable, and no additional adjustments were requested. Maintenance staff also reported fewer issues compared with the older lamps, mainly due to the absence of warm-up time and lamp aging effects.
This project in Spain confirmed that the XJ-HBS150W led high bay lights is suitable for straightforward industrial retrofits where energy efficiency and improved lighting quality are both priorities. It also demonstrated that, when the replacement is properly matched to the existing layout, significant improvements can be achieved without complex redesign.
