Product NO: XJ-HBS200W
Brand: SEEKINGLED
Project Location: Australia
Application: Warehouse lighting
This warehouse project in Australia started with a very clear request from the client. They were not looking for decorative lighting or a complete redesign. Their main concern was energy use. The warehouse runs for long hours, but movement is not constant across all areas. Keeping lights at full output all day did not make sense anymore.
After reviewing the basic layout and daily operation, we suggested using the XJ-HBS200W LED high bay combined with the MC301V motion and daylight sensor. The idea was simple: keep the existing working environment unchanged, but allow the lighting to react to how the space is actually used.
Installation followed the original mounting points. There was no need for structural changes. Once the fixtures were powered, most of the work happened during sensor setup. We spent time on site adjusting detection range, hold time, and daylight threshold. These settings were tested while forklifts and staff moved through different zones, not just based on default values.
After several rounds of adjustment, the lighting behavior became stable. When movement was detected, the XJ-HBS200W high bays responded quickly and provided enough brightness for normal warehouse tasks. In areas with little activity, output dropped automatically. During daytime, zones with sufficient natural light stayed dimmed, which helped reduce unnecessary power use.
From an engineering point of view, the system ran smoothly. There were no false triggers or noticeable delays during normal operation. The client did not request further changes after the final setup. Feedback from warehouse staff was also straightforward: lighting felt natural, not distracting, and visibility was consistent.
This project is a typical example of how sensor-controlled led high bay lighting can be applied in an Australian warehouse without complicating daily operations. The client was satisfied with both the control logic and the overall efficiency improvement achieved with the XJ-HBS200W solution.
